Every growing season creates its own unique challenges. For 2022, soybean quality and germination results were a hotly debated topic in the industry, with some less than ideal products making it into the marketplace. Martin Seed decided it was in our best interest to share our quality results with our customers, in an effort to be very transparent about each lot of seed offered. As it turned out, replants were not needed and soybeans stands were excellent! Following up from what we started last year, we will continue to update our soybean quality throughout the season to make sure we are offering only the best quality product for your farm. Our Martin Seed standards state that, “We won’t sell you a seed lot that we wouldn’t be willing to plant on our own farms” and that statement is as true today as it has ever been.
